Obituary of Maria Rolo
Maria Rolo, 77, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, in Vineland, New Jersey. Born on May 12, 1948, in Munich, Germany, Maria lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family and community.
Maria spent many years working at the bank in Twin Rivers, transitioning through its changes from Chemical Bank to PNC. She found genuine joy being a helping hand to her colleagues and customers alike. Later she brought that same spirit to her role at Lenox, while also fully enjoying her employee discount. Her career reflected her hardworking nature and her ability to find fulfillment in every chapter of her professional life.
Maria was a devoted wife to her husband, Joe, and a loving mother who poured her heart into her three children: Phillippe Maurice, David, and Nicole Rose. She absolutely cherished her role as a grandmother to Sarah and shared a uniquely close bond with her brother, Murat, and his family. Her family was the true center of her world, and she took immense pride in being a steady, caring presence for everyone who crossed her threshold.
Often described as "a mom to everyone." Maria possessed a rare, generous spirit. Whether she was acting as a natural caregiver or a trusted babysitter, she had an instinct for bringing comfort to those who needed it most. Her home was a sanctuary of joy and togetherness, always open for gatherings. Maria had a deep love for flowers and found happiness in tending to them, bringing beauty into the lives of those who visited.
Maria’s easy-going nature, sense of humor, and ability to listen made her an exceptional friend and confidante. She had a gift for offering thoughtful advice that left a lasting footprint on the hearts of her friends.
Her memory will be forever treasured by all who were touched by her warmth. May the love she so freely gave continue to inspire and guide those who knew her.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, from 03:30 p.m. until 05:30 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown, NJ.
