Obituary of Maureen M. McNicholas

Maureen M. McNicholas, 67, of Manchester, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, at the Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, Maureen lived in Jersey City, Old Bridge, East Windsor, North Brunswick, and Keyport before settling in Manchester.  She was a graduate of Hightstown High School. Maureen worked for Coca-Cola/Minute Maid Company in Hightstown, NJ; holding various positions from Chemical Mixer to Quality Control and the Teamsters Shop Steward until her retirement in 1996.  She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, going to flea markets, studying her Irish heritage and family history and, most importantly, spending time with family.

Predeceased by her parents, Richard T., Sr. and Margaret (Nolan) McNicholas; her sisters, Margaret and Kathleen; and her brothers, Thomas and Richard; she is survived by her niece and her husband, Emily and William Lecorchick; their sons, William and Francis; her nephew and his wife, Richard and Teresa McNicholas; their son, Sean; and her many cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ. 

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hightstown, NJ.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel.
