Obituary of David J. Longo

David J. Longo, 69, of Millstone Township, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family. 

Born in Princeton and raised in Monroe, David was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Hightstown High School. Dave was the field project manager for over 30 years with Diversified Rack and Shelving of Hamilton and East Windsor.

Dave was a hard worker and always kept busy doing projects at home as well. He traveled the world with his wife Cindy.  When not traveling they loved trips to the casino and playing their weekly group card games. Dave was a quiet humble man but was always cracking jokes and good for playing pranks on people. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Dave adored his family and they adored him in return.

Predeceased by his parents, Anna (Simonetti) and Salvatore Longo and his beloved wife, Cynthia (Pastore) Longo; he is survived by his daughters, Vanessa Liedtka and her husband, Jason and their son, Brandon, of Cream Ridge and Dana Longo and her children, Damon and Dayonna, of North Hanover; his brothers and sister-in-law, Bruce and Ron and his wife, Diana; his sister, MaryAnn Longo; his many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and his many cherished friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown, NJ 08520.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 13 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services.

Interment services will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown, NJ.
