Obituary of Marie Elonis

Marie Sherman Elonis, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at the age of 85.

Marie lived in the Windsor/Hightstown area her entire life. She was known by many as a Bank Teller at Wells Fargo bank and a CSR at Acme for over 40 years.

She was known as a kind and patient person who was liked by many. She was at her best when she could help someone.  Marie was an angel that walked among us and will be greatly missed.

Predeceased by her parents, George Franklin and Stella (Marriner) Sherman; her son, Ricardo Santiago; her sister, Joyce Whipkey; and her grandson, Fred Carpenter: Marie is survived by her brother, George Franklin Sherman, Jr. and his wife, Dee of Pennsylvania; her son, Samuel Santiago; her granddaughters, Dymphna and Marcia Santiago; her grandson, Marton Carpenter and his wife, Lindsey; her 11 great-grandchildren; and her several nieces and nephews.

Private services are under the direction of Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.
