Obituary of Edward G. Platt

Edward G. Platt, 78, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at the University Medical Center of Princeton in Plainsboro, NJ.

Born in Robbinsville, NJ, Ed was a lifelong Hightstown/East Windsor resident. He worked in the food service department at McGraw-Hill in East Windsor, NJ for many years.  Ed went on to work at the East Windsor Senior Center.

Ed enjoyed doing crafts; especially drawing and wood-burning. He also was intrigued by and studied Native American Culture.

Predeceased by his parents, Edward F. and Gladys (Stanhope) Platt; he is survived by his cousins, Raymond “Butch” Thompson, Judy Thompson, Mary Schuster, Sue Schuster, Lenny Schuster, Julia Platt, and their families.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hightstown, NJ.
