Obituary of Vera June Barry

Vera June “Fox” Barry, 91, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Capital Health Hospital in Hopewell. She was surrounded by her family and friends.

Daughter of the late Harry Fox and Matilda Hall, mother of the late Louis Barry Jr. and Cheryl Barry. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Louis Barry Sr.; son, Brian Barry and daughter-in-law, Pamela Barry; daughter-in-law, Brenda Barry; grandchildren, Starrmarie Barry, Louis Barry III, Michael Barry, Alexia Barry, Colin Barry and Kayla Barry; plus her great-grandchildren, Sierra, Aliah, Louis IV and Brantley. Along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she resided in Hamilton NJ the past 61 years. She was a strong-willed woman who had a heart of gold. In addition to her family, she enjoyed shopping, loved to travel and was always fun to be around. She had a huge heart for animals, liked to talk on the phone and was an Elvis Presley fan. She was energetic, funny, determined, fierce and tough. She was an amazing Wife, Mother, Grandmother and dear friend.
