Obituary of Lorraine J. Tumino

Lorraine J. Tumino, 75, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Penn Medicine of Princeton, Plainsboro, NJ.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Lorraine spent time living in various places along the east coast including: Shelter Island, NY; Aquebogue, NY; Hightstown, NJ; Middletown, RI; and settled in East Windsor, NJ several years ago. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Lorraine was dedicated to caring for her family and their home. In her spare time, Lorraine enjoyed nature and often looked after injured and stray animals.

Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Caroline (DeFeo) DeVino; she is survived by her husband of 52 years, John E. Tumino, of East Windsor, NJ; her sons and their spouses, John and Shannon Tumino of Newport, RI; Edward Tumino of Hampton Bays, NY; Charles and Panadda Tumino of Sag Harbor, NY; Paul Tumino and Katherine Medaglia of Hamilton, NJ; her grandchildren, Luke, Sadie Rose, and Giovanni Tumino; her brother, John DeVino of Baldwin, NY; and many loving friends and family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, Franklin Street and Maxwell Avenue, Hightstown, NJ.

Private interment will follow at a future date.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.
