Obituary of Anna L. Santiago

Anna L. (Crespo) Santiago, 79, of Hightstown, NJ, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 15, 2024 at her residence. 

Born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Anna was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Allentown High School.  In the early 1950’s, Anna and her family moved to Hightstown where they have resided for many years.  For over 20 years, she was employed with Cricket Converters as a clerk and later joined McGraw Hill Credit Union of East Windsor in 2003.  Anna continued her employment with PenFed Credit Union as a Customer Service Representative until her retirement in 2011.  

Anna was a devoted and faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church for many years.  In her retirement years, she enjoyed spending time at the East Windsor Senior Center where she had cultivated many friendships and looked forward to trips to Atlantic City.  Above all else, Anna cherished the time she spent with her family and was a devoted and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

Predeceased by her parents, Pedro and Rosa (Guerrero) Crespo and her brother, Gregorio “Bindo” Crespo; she is survived by her sons; her sons, Jose and his wife, Jennifer and Eddie and his wife, Melisa; her brothers, Anthony and James Crespo; her sister-in-law, Barbara Crespo; her grandchildren, Xavier, Edward, Jr., Lucciana, Anthony, and Brittany; her great-grandchildren, Arya Rose and Ambrose; and her nieces and nephews, Kenny, Theo, Candi, Ricky and his wife, Holly, Nikki, Dawn, Dylan, and Mia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ.

Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Hightstown, NJ.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ.
