Obituary of Alice Marie Roehr

Alice Marie Roehr, 84, of East Windsor, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Grace Hospice at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in New York City, Alice settled down in East Windsor 37 years ago.  She worked as a cashier with the Food Town in Twin Rivers for nine years prior to her retirement.

In her free time, she enjoyed listening to 50’s music, playing bingo, doing word puzzles and spending time with her friends and family.

Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mary Lagville; her husband, Charles Roehr; her siblings Mary, Anne, Robert, and James; her niece, Carol; and her nephew, Robert; Alice is survived by her children and their spouses, Kelly and Paul Truncellito, and Dennis and Dawn Roehr; her grandchildren, Dana and Dr. Thomas Hopkins, Paul Truncellito, Jr., Ashley Roehr and her fiancé, Arthur Schneider, and Victoria Roehr; her great-grandchildren, Salvatore Truncellito, and Tyler and Riley Hopkins; and her several nieces and nephews.  Alice was joyfully anticipating the arrival of her fourth great-grandchild.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ.  A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m.

Committal Services and Urn Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in North Hanover, NJ.
