Obituary of Paul Jordan
Paul Jordan, 94, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
Born in Slovakia, Mr. Jordan came to the United States in August of 1936 to New York City. In 1941, he along with his parents, Sam and Mary Valasek, moved to a farm in Hightstown, NJ. He served in the U.S Army during WWII. A Purple Heart recipient, Mr. Jordan was honorably discharged in November of 1945. Mr. Jordan then went on to work for many years as a mechanic for U.S. Steel in Fairless Hills, PA until retiring over 30 years ago.
Predeceased by his parents, Sam and Mary Valasek; and his sisters, Ann Goodwin and Elizabeth "Betty" Vaclavicek; Mr. Jordan is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Virginia G. (Klimchak) Jordan; his sons, Paul Jordan and James D. Jordan; his daughters, Joanne Jones and Donna J. Jordan; his grandchildren, Ian and James Jordan, Jessica Tordai and David Jones; his sisters, Christine Stives and Olga Klein; and many nieces and nephews including his special angel, Kelly Klein.
Military Honors and interment will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
