Obituary of Kevin E. Farrell

Kevin Farrell, 64, of Howard Beach, NY, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, in Langhorne, PA.

Born in New Brunswick, NJ and raised in the West Windsor/Princeton area, Kevin was a graduate of Princeton High School class of 73.  He was a longtime Hightstown/East Windsor area resident prior to moving to Queens, NY due to his career as an operations supervisor for ABF Trucking Company.  Kevin loved family history and ancestry and was extremely proud of his Irish heritage.  He was an avid reader and loved doing the daily newspaper crossword puzzles.  Most importantly he loved time with family and taking trips to Lancaster, PA, Florida and Ocean Grove, NJ to visit with family and friends. He treasured these visits, especially time with his “Little Buddy” David DeForest and his family and Kevin adored being David’s “Uncle Buddy”.  Kevin was the conduit keeping family members in touch with one another and he will be greatly missed.

Predeceased by his loving parents, Edward and Joan (Tobin) Farrell; his sister, blessed Elaine Marie Farrell; and his son, Peter Farrell; Kevin is survived by his daughter, Heather Farrell; his sisters, Denise P. and Lisa A. Farrell; his brother, Neil E. Farrell; his nephews, Kyle, Keith and Kevin Nowacki; his grandson, Sylvan; his dear former spouse, Gloria Melendez and her children; his loving girlfriend, Barbara Conover-Bowe; and his many cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., with funeral services beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown, NJ 08520.

Cremation services will be private.
