Obituary of Margaret "Peggy" Creede

Margaret “Peggy” M. Creede, 81, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Meadow Lakes in East Windsor, NJ.

Born in Bayridge, Brooklyn, NY, Peggy lived in East Windsor, NJ for 27 years. Peggy enjoyed life on her terms and was fiercely independent. She loved gardening, feeding the birds in her yard, taking long walks and driving her Z28. Peggy was best known for her charitable contributions to numerous foundations.

Peggy was President for the last 15 years and served as a Board Member for 20 years for the Windsor Woods Homeowner’s Association and played an integral role. She spent many years as a volunteer for organizations such as the United Way and New Jersey Literacy Association. Peggy was an executive assistant at Bristol-Meyers Squibb in Princeton, NJ until her retirement in 2006.

Predeceased by her parents, George V. and Kathryn (Bolton) Creede; she is survived by her niece, Mary K. Cordo and her husband, Terry Moye; her niece, Kathryn Guillou; her nephew, John Cordo and his wife, Amy Loudis; her great-nieces, Madison Rodriguez and Jala Moye; and her great-nephew, Christopher Guillou and his wife, Meghan.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown, NJ. 

Cremation will be private

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, from 9:30 until 11:30a.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel.
