Obituary of Agnes T. Medican
Agnes T. Medican, 95, of Cranbury, NJ, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at The Elms of Cranbury.
Born in New York, NY, Mrs. Medican lived in Brooklyn, NY, before moving to East Windsor in 1977. She worked for Royal Insurance Company in New York City for 12 ½ years and the Insurance Services Office in New York City and Princeton for 10 years. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church and the parish’s Altar Rosary Society. Mrs. Medican was a member of the Anthonian Seniors, having served as secretary for ten years. She was also a member and secretary for the East Windsor Senior Club.
Predeceased by her parents, Walter F. and Margaret (Irvin) Sinclair; her brothers, Cornelius and James Sullivan, and Francis Sinclair; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Sullivan and Lydia Sinclair; she is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin M. Medican of New Hope, PA and William A. and Helga Medican of Middletown, NY; her grandchildren, Dawn K. (Mike) Gregory, Brendan (Lauren) Medican, and Caitlin Medican (Charles) Dammeyer; her five great-grandchildren, T.J. and Brian Gregory, Molly Anne and Alice Rose Dammeyer, and Patrick Medican; her former daughter-in-law, Marilynn Medican; and her several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Services at Glackin Chapel, 136 Morrison Avenue, Hightstown, NJ 08520.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ.
Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
