When I think of my cousin Theresa I always remember us as kids. I would get very excited when I was going to visit her and her brother Michael or when they were coming to visit us. I remember her wanting to play at some game or play Tea time, and Michael bouncing off the walls. Our other cousin Cindy would sit quietly while Theresa would try to direct us all. Theresa was always positive as a kid and as an adult. When I would have had enough of Mike’s antics and try to muscle him around to get him to settle down Theresa would scold us and tell us to play nice.
After Theresa became a nurse she was one of our family “go to’s” when we had a medical emergency. She took very good care of my Aunt Anna Marie when she had heart surgery at St. Michael’s Hospital and was there for us giving advice when my brother in law Pat had COVID.
Joyce and I were so happy when she found Bill. She waited a long time to find the right guy and it was worth her wait. Bill is a wonderful man and loved my cousin with all his heart which our entire family is grateful to him for taking such good care of her. We remember when they both came to see my mom and Theresa was so happy to tell her she was going to have a baby. I know she will always be looking out for Bill and Aislynn in the years to come along with the rest of her family.
I know Theresa was greeted in heaven by her mom, grandmother (Aunt Hester), her grandfather (Uncle Mickey), and all the rest of our family. There was probably a big family party too because that is something our family loved most in life; seeing each other at those kinda gatherings.
I am glad Joyce and I were able to visit Theresa and Bill a month ago and I was able to hug her and tell her how much I love her and reminisce about the times we were kids.
Joyce and I will miss our cousin. I know I love her deeply but I know I will see her again. Until then I will always remember the good times and have in my mind images like the picture I posted. I love you Theresa Ann.

On June 14. 1963, my beautiful niece Theresa entered the world. She had a crop of hair with big brown eyes and a smile that lit up the room. I visited her on Saturdays and couldn't wait to hold her. Words can't say how much I love her. I will miss her very much. Aunt Carol Middleton

Theresa was my cousin that I always looked up too. I strong registered nurse, a loving mom and wife a loving cousin, the Godmother of our son and now a beautiful guardian angel. She touched the hearts of everyone she knew. I even had her name for confirmation. I was a sponsor for her wedding, and she has a wonderful husband. I love you cuz, miss you forever!
